If your only goal is reaching rank 35, go in solo showdown, hide in a bush, and wait to win.
But if you want to play and enjoy, you can practice in friendly battles against bots or your friend to improve the game.
Just remember something: If the number of trophies gained per win increases, the trophies lost per loss will increase too.
